Driving wine tours

Explore Marlborough's driving wine tours are built around our clients wishes. We have a planned itinerary for the day but once we pick you up from your accommodation we will talk to you about the types of wines you like or if you have particular Marlborough wineries that you would like to visit and we adjust our day plan to meet our clients interests and preferences.

A standard day tour would involve visiting a selection of wineries ranging from the larger more established wineries like Wither Hills winery to the smaller family owned wineries of Bladen or Gibson Bridge. Lunch is at one of our delicious winery restaurants where we relax for an hour or so and soak up the laid back atmosphere of the Marlborough Vineyards.

Our guides all have connections to the industry having worked for wineries, owned vineyards or made their own wine. This ensures that you get a really informative day where you learn about the history of the valley and the wine region, the reasons that Marlborough grows world renown Sauvignon Blanc and an understanding of the process of growing grapes and making wine.

Also often included ( dependent on winemaker availability) is a private barrel tasting where you get to try a range of Pinot Noir direct from the barrel.
